In addition to the new printer, iFactory3D also presented its latest project, PodoFactory<\/u><\/a>. This initiative aims to simplify the production of custom-made insoles by offering a complete package that includes a 3D printer, software, training and materials. The model works on a pay-per-sole basis, making it accessible to businesses of all sizes, especially those struggling with challenges such as staff shortages.<\/p>\n

The PodoFactory printer is designed for continuous operation and has features such as automatic pause and resume printing when filament runs out, as well as the typical continuous print bed<\/u><\/a>, which ensures smooth continuous and automated operation. The insoles<\/u><\/a> produced have a smoother surface than those made with Cartesian printers, and the flexibility of the printer allows for custom sizing to meet a wide range of needs. The fact that the soles require around 80% less material than milled models and offer a high level of easy customization, combined with the convincing quality, give PodoFactory the potential to be a real revolution.<\/p>\n

A remarkable moment for iFactory3D during the event was the visit of the Mayor of D\u00fcsseldorf, Dr. Stephan Keller<\/u><\/a>, at the stand of the business development agency.
